GolfResortsDirect.com has been carefully designed to help those who own and operate golf resorts find more customers. There has been plenty said about the problems affecting the golf industry at present, but the overall sense from the event was one of optimism and cheer. This was no sugar coated ‘positive thinking’ but most delegates and exhibitors thought that the next 12 months looked far more positive. New ideas were to be found and the enthusiasm of Gregg Patterson rubbed off on everyone. The over-riding message was that for those of us who can change and adapt to changing times, that is what we must do - and do it well, and without delay. Those who have to operate more conventionally may be restricted in their ability to change: this could be a real opportunity for the proprietary sector.
